Basic Rundown: Twin brother of Mabel Pines, but wound up a squib with no magical ability. He sort of sneaks into the school bent on finding a way to fix that. SO IF YOU SEE THIS WEIRD KID WALKING AROUND IN GRYFFINDOR ROBES AND YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHO HE ACTUALLY IS it's Dipper.

-Travelled a lot in childhood because his parents are Wizard Candy-Makers, but his parents settled down in England so he could go to school.

-Tends to avoid class and take naps a lot...but he generally does well when he applies himself.
-Though his parents want him to take over the family business, Sora wants to be an Auror. He doesn't want to disappoint them though.
-Loves Quidditch more then anything ever and will spend hours talking about it (BE WARNED)

-But because of This Douche named Galochio and some dark arts hoo ha, the entire bloodline was cursed to die in water and he ran them out/they ollied da fuq out of the magical community
-Now they're a big ol' family of acrobats with a traveling circus and none of the kids actually know about magic and they all are/act like muggles!!!
-Except then Raz accidentally magick'd his sister during a balancing act that was embarrassing

Idk. She's really fond of Care and Keeping of Magical Creatures, though sometimes they don't always care for her. That's basically all I got so far.

House & Position: Gryffindor Defense Against the Dark Arts

Basic Rundown:
- pretty normal life growing up, nbd, white picket fence and all
- probably attended Hogwarts with Felix and Gothel and Facilier and Amelia and the like, oh god that's terrifying
- participated in the First Wizarding War, as both an auror and a member of the military
- was part of a special mission/division/idk where she lead a group of witches and wizards in the humane extermination of dragons infected by magitech by a Death Eater (magical "nanotech" called Cy-Bugs which adapt and evolve and multiply oh god)
- thinking they got all of them, she and her fiance went to get married!!!

Basic Rundown: KOZ WILL BE TEAM DAD. IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT TEAM. COME FIND HIM. HE WILL SIT YOU DOWN WITH SOME TEA AND ADVISE YOU ON YOUR FEELS. AND ISSUE HUGS.

He's also mildly crazy in the "wait did he just suggest riding velociraptors in to battle with a straight face?" sort of way. He's also more than willing to admit that he did ask to be put in Slytherin because "it's hardmode" but obviously didn't get what he wanted.

He may or may not be from a dirt old family with a history of going utterly bonkers and commiting homicide. He won't answer that question.

Basic Rundown:

-Headmaster Mouse has been headmaster for only a year now. He's started his second year this year-- before that, it was Headmaster Walt at the helm.

-Mickey's only got a year's worth of experience with the existing teachers because before he started, he was off helping Oswald on an adventure and before that he was an auror. You know, stuff like that.

-Mickey's a graduate of Gryffindor house.

-He believes in all of you and you all have potential. We're going to make this a magical experience so long as we all work hard and work together!

-He's a little over 40 but he doesn't look or sound it.

Basic Rundown:

-Is a Pooka! Which is a half-breed fae, kind of like veela. They're shapeshifters that fled Ireland to Australia only to find the British went there too and lived there for a long time and so far as he knows, Bunny is the last of his kind. They're ornery little tricksters who don't ever say goodbye, thus making the ends of conversations kind of awkward.

-Really likes rabbits. Can shapeshift into one, even.

-If you give him chocolate or anger him very very much he will turn into a pooka warrior or goblin but he's trying to keep that on the DL so avoid giving him chocolate.

-ornery as fuck but kind of a softie. I apologise for him.

-Ravenclaw's tank Keeper. (Bunny is our king, Bunny is our king, he never lets the quaffle in...)

Basic Rundown:

-Basically the personality of Naveen in the beginning of the movie. He's a 'prince' by which I mean his family has a lot of fuckin' money. His mother is a high-standing noble from India and her father is a Brasilian Ministry diplomat so he's always lived in the high-end of Brasil and being sent to Hogwarts instead of a Brasilian school is like a ~treat~ for him

-Except they won't send him much money while he's overseas because they think he's a little shit

-He is also the fucking laziest Slytherin ever.

-He is a ladies man and he excels in musical magic but he doesn't see why he has to work for things.

House & Year/Staff Position: 2nd year Slytherin, HouseSkipper (usually follows North)

Basic Rundown:

-Has been in the Hogwarts castle all her life because Ombric taught there and he was her guardian

-Loves telling stories and is generally really kind and all of that. Super smart, super resourceful, don't take no one's shit.

-Is surprisingly not afraid of Calhoun.

-but doesn't get along with some of the Slytherins...

-orphaned as a toddler but as it seems is really good at picking up father figures

-and in her canon grows up to be mother goose so apparently is very motherly herself?

-you wouldn't believe this kid is 12 okay she just. yeah.

-She has a pet glowstick named nightlight

Character: Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III • How to Train Your Dragon • dragonconqueror
House & Year: Ravenclaw 5th

Basic Rundown:
Born to Stoick and Valhallarama Haddock in the village of Berk somewhere in Northern Scotland, his village has been terrorized by dragons infected with a magical nanotech called cybugs since before he was born. His parents are aurors, his mother having died when he was about two years old, and his dad is old war buddies with Calhoun, who is his honorary aunt. He found a small dragon he called Toothless when he was about five, who was the only dragon of his clutch that wasn't infected by the cybugs and he tried to pass off as a regular lizard, which works because of his smaller than the average dragon size.

Hiccup grew up being tormented by his cousin Snotlout, and when he went to Hogwarts everyone thought he was going to be a Gryffindor like his parents (it doesn't help that Stoick used to brag about it during Snoggletog). Instead, he was put into Ravenclaw despite his begging (he almost landed in Hufflepuff for that effort). Toothless hangs out in the hood of his robes, or his bookbag, whichever's comfortable. He became a Quidditch player during second year and slowly began building up a love of flying, despite the reason why he was chosen was because he was the smallest there who could fit the seeker position.

Favourite classes are Care of Magical Creatures and Herbology, least favourite are DADA and Potions for reasons. He almost always has his sketchbook and notebook on hand, even if it's not for classwork. Currently studying to become a dragonologist and find a cure for the cybug virus.

House & Year: Gryffindor 6th

Basic Rundown:
Her mother was killed during a riot started by wizards who didn't take kindly to halfbreeds and her father built a hotel for 'monster' types. Whether you're a vampire, werewolf, centaur, troll, etc., it doesn't matter, you'll always be welcome in Hotel Transylvania. Mavis is a rare case of a vampire being born and not bitten, something that Daddy Dracula is protective of her about. He wasn't too thrilled about her attending Hogwarts but on her insistence decided to let her go, believing her to be safe within the walls.

Mavis was sorted into Gryffindor, joined the Quidditch team in her third year as a chaser once it was shown how good she was at flying. Her status as a vampire (or rather dhampire) isn't known to people, mostly to protect her despite her protests that she thinks students would be cool with it.

And this year she's going to meet Johnny...

Basic Rundown:
Shady as fuck head of Slytherin house that insists her students refer to her as "Mother" or "Mama" or any other form of the word. Went to school with Facilier, Calhoun, Felix, Amelia. Dated Facilier while they were in school. Graduated from Slytherin house and went into the potions making business since it was her best class. Discovered a potion that's similiar to the fountain of youth that needs the hair of pretty young blonde girls.

anything! particularly negative CR since she's shady but she's careful about it, so it wouldn't be a case of 'this woman gives me a bad vibe'. she's manipulative. I'd also like some younger students for her to dote on in order to garner their favor.

House & Year: Slytherin 5th

Basic Rundown:
Completes the lazy Slytherin trifecta with Naveen and Flynn. Comes from a small village filled with his relatives where they mine coal and floo powder for wizards, lost his dad to a mine collapse accident and nearly lost his Uncle Max in the same one. Takes metaphors literally. He's got a very laid back attitude even though before his Hogwarts letter, he was known as the village klutz.

Basic Rundown:
Son of one of the headmaster's best friends, he's in that stage of teenagerdom - the stage where boys are ornery as fuck and get grumpy whenever their parents interfere with their lives. Thinks he's the epitome of cool when really he's not. Has a highly embarrassing laugh that makes him slap a hand over his mouth whenever it slips out. Haven't decided if he should be a Quidditch player too, or just ride his skateboard down the halls.

House & Year/Staff Position: 5th year Gryffindor

Basic Rundown:
- He's a human here. Mostly because he's canonically 5 and he would be middle aged by the end of school if I kept him a platypus
- Perry is an orphan who was taken in by the Flynn-Fletcher family, who are distant relatives to him. He loves them and treats them like they're his blood family. In fact even now won't really angst about dead parents. He is also secretly trained by Francis Monogram in fighting, who is the only one who knows how his parents died (although whenever he asks, Monogram always changes the answer)
- Despite being rather accepting of people, Perry has a huge "Black and White" mentality
- He can talk, but he prefers to be silent unless he feels like he should (he talks a little bit more than what Ferb would, but he's certainly no Phineas when it comes to conversation)
- Perry is the Gryffindor chaser as well as a back up Beater
- Is an animagus that can transform into, well, a platypus!

House & Year: 4th or 5th year and I actually haven't decided yet, but probably Gryffindor?

Basic Rundown: He was raised by gorillas in Africa and found, much like in canon, by Jane and her father. It just happened earlier and involved more magic and magical creatures.
- He so plays Quidditch. He hangs off his broom a lot as he does so. Probably Chaser?
- Predictably, he's good at Care of Magical Creatures. And the concept of locking them up astounds him. And he talks to them.
Type of CR: Any and all. I'd love for anyone that would like to lead him astray without him realizing, because due to how he was raised he obviously can be naive and oblivious. Just keep in mind he can also kick really hard. x) Also stuff like anyone hitting on him would likely be hilarious. Or anyone hitting on Jane, because that's his Jane.

Basic Rundown: San is a feral child raised by a giant wolf in the Forbidden Forest. That's her home. The Forbidden Forest. But, surprise, at 11 she was hauled off to go learn human magic because that had to be gotten under control, and she's still not 100% happy about it. Still, she has been persuaded to play along largely due to a combination of quidditch and the possibility of becoming an animagus.

In addition to transfiguration, she likes herbalism and care of magical creatures, but she's pretty bad at actually listening to the professor in those two.

Growls and gouses a lot about all of her other classes because "when is she ever going to need this." In fairness, she lives in the woods. Ancient Runes may not actually be as useful to her as to others.
Type of CR: I would love all kinds of CR.
Any plans?: Nnnnnope! She visits her Mom and two siblings in the woods often, and has special permission to go in there. Since it's. You know. Her home.

-Comes from a wealthy and influential family in China.

-As money is no issue, she was sent to the highly-recommended British boarding school for witches and wizards.
-IS BLIND.
-Will keep her sensing-things-through-the-ground ability though I haven't worked out how exactly she'll do that without earthbending. BUT IT'S THERE.
-Doesn't fly obv.
-Also knows kung fu and can probably kick your character's butt.
-Loud and annoying.
